Super excited for them because it has great opportunities for everyone! The kids seem to like it and mom & Jon do as well.
My best friend is having a baby. Crazy to think we are all growing up to that point. A lot of people are having babies/getting married/etc. I am ok with the fact that I am not to that point yet but it does make me excited to think about. I enjoy seeing others happy with their love and extending of family :). Speaking of my sister (Aubrey) is getting married as well.
Our house is coming together! We enjoy living here. Got a new bed for free and makes the room look complete. We enjoy the small improvements we are always making.
We are barely getting by and I am ready to get into a career and start making some money! I want a new car so bad!! I know my time will come with all of these things though :)
I don't have much more to say except the reason for my title is it is OCT 7th and there is SNOW in the mountains and it has been in the 40's here all week :(. I love the snow for snowboarding but I am not ready yet. It isn't even Halloween yet! Might be visiting Phoenix sooner than I thought.

Spring is In the Air

Well another semester later...I took Chem, had to drop eval of upper extremities due to the study time involved and took a few other classes that are required but easy for my degree. I'm about 67 percent through my degree. Hopefully about a year left for a Bachelors Degree.

I am still working at DTV :*(. It pays the bills but it hurts my heart everyday that I am there. It's just so frustrating dealing with grumpy people ALL day. Thankful to have a job that pays the rent through. Powder mountain job was amazing. It is now coming to a close but it has been epic. I have never snowboarded so much in my life. I really enjoyed that part. I didn't really enjoy my 12 hour days much though between two jobs. I got Nic a position up there too for about a month. It was very enjoyable to have our season passes to go snowboard as we pleased.

Another chapter started in my fathers life. He decided in January to buy a rental home in Ogden. He is fixing it up and we will move in there at the end of May. Excited for it because our dogs need the yard. Meka is getting pretty bored in the apartment. It'll be a nice place when it's done. Nic and I have been helping fix it up because in January my dad also decided to move to Arizona. By February he had a job and a house there and is outta Utah. Sad to see him go because we have been able to spend a lot of time with him since we moved closer. His new house does have a pool and is in the heat so spring and fall that will be my vacation spot.

Right now is basically another transition for us. Ending jobs, ending another semester, moving to a new home, etc. Seems that I do all three of these things on a regular basis but it's ok it's always for the best :).

Just some things that happened since I last wrote outside of LIFE CHANGES:
Vacationed to Seattle to visit Whitney. So much fun was had. Partied mostly but it was a great experience and good to see Whitney and Brittney again. The tourist things were ok but the best part was the quality time.
Jackson Hill Climbs: Spent a weekend in Jackson Hole with our friends. Got a hotel room for 5 and enjoyed the sun at the lift and watched the event. This is always a good time with friends. Memories made.

I know a lot more has happened in the semester but those were recent and remembered :).
Until next time...

The Holidays are Here

It is now the end of the semester. I loved my classes this semester (pharmacology, evaluation of lower extremities, statistics, sport psyc) It has been a rough semester though. I thought with my DTV job I'd be working 20 hours a week, but it was 30 hours a week the whole semester (sometimes more). This made it hard for me to adapt to working and school. I have struggled all semester to keep my grades up. I just hope in the end my grades are all passing. Next semester I plan to take Chemistry, Eval. of upper extremities and a few other (easy) classes. Hope next semester brings better results.
Nic has recovered very well from his surgery. Moved much faster than I did through recovery. He still can't play soccer but will be able to get some snowboarding in. He got a job recently at Famous Footwear, so we're excited about that.
Speaking of snowboarding, I got a job at a ski resort by my house. I'll be in ticket sales and that means I have a season pass to the mountain. Way excited...just need people to go with.
Meka, our puppy, suffered a spell of Parvo. This was hard for me considering I'm not made of money and she was my first dog on my own. She made it through it though and has been full of life since. She's adorable and she loves Ike. I'm her favorite because Nic is the punisher around here. When I'm home she follows me everywhere, she's sitting on my lap while typing this.
DTV has been an good job as far as money goes but when it comes to an enjoyable job, this one is not for me. I dislike attempting the sale things to angry people. I don't like the schedule DTV gives me. We'll see how things turn out in the end though. (may be sooner than later) With the Holidays here I may end up quitting so I can actually see all my family during the break from school. Meka needs to meet her grandma in Wyoming.
Well I have to go decorate for the holidays, clean up breakfast and get ready for work.

Happy Holidays All!!!!

End of The Summer

A lot has gone on this summer. We have been able to my dads and brothers more this summer because of living in Northern Utah. I have had a great summer but along with fun it has been stressful. I had to switch jobs because the Census ended earlier than planned. Now I work for customer service and it is rough. I am greatful to have a job just wish I could find a job I love! Making rent, bills, extra money is so hard to handle for the first time but it's all teaching me slowly.
The beginning of the summer Nic and I went on mtn bike rides and it's a new hobby I have grown to love. We have been able to go to the lake more and that is fun as well. I've been able to show Nic the fun things I know Utah to be.
We added to our family this summer as well. We have Ike the wiener and now Meka the beagle! She's still a pup and a handful but I love her greatly! It's made Nic and I have to communicate a lot and it's a fun experience.
We recently got on an indoor soccer team with mutual friends and co-workers. First game was not good. Nic tore his ACL and is getting it fixed today. (I'm lonely giving me time to write this). He is in STG getting help from his family. He took the puppies with him so it is a lonely few weeks around here. It's going to be rough with a new puppy, new job, school schedule AND Nic on crutches :(
I'm excited to take on another year of school. This one will be different though. Having bills and school work scares me but I know Nic and I can get through it.
Well signing off now... sorry it's so long between posts.

New Home Plus Some

We are moved into our new home. We found a two bedroom apartment with a balcony, fireplace, dog park and it's in the good part of town. I am so glad Nic was here to make the decision on where to live because that's a big decision that I was having a hard time making. Different places had different perks and committing to a place was hard for me. He's been an amazing roommate so far!!! Our apartment is decent but on the empty side. We have necessities but we are missing the small detailed touches that make it HOME. We'll get there though. I did find a job, it is only temporary for the summer but will be good money. It is full time for the summer but with not so great hours. I started training today and it's like high school again. Sitting all day in one spot with a lunch break. Nic is still looking for a job so I'm glad one of us found one to make the payments for now and I know he'll find one soon. He's searching pretty hard.
As for the weather it's not so hot here yet, ha. It's getting warm but the clouds seem to always be out. I did love that about st. george, it was usually sunny! Overcast is depressing.
Recent events consisted of going to Jesse's graduation *very proud of the kid*. We just got back from Wyoming and it was a good trip. The family went fishing and I got a nice trout. It was fun and I like showing my country side occasionally :).Spending the weekend at mom's was good. Always good to see my family! We also went to Morgan's *cassidie's brother* graduation. It was neat to me for Nic to see what my graduation was like. We hung out with Cassidie and Shannon. It was a fun weekend. Tanner came back with us and we went hiking and swimming and hung out for a few days. It was nice spending time with him. I hope to see my family more now that I am closer to all of them.
Oh, I did pass my CNA test YAY. I hope to find a job with it while I'm in school :). Now I work for the summer, enjoy no school, and get comfortable in a new setting.

SUMMER BREAK 2010

One more semester down....probably 12 to go ha! I finished with an A's and B's and I'm very proud because this semester was challenging. I like the challenge and I need to accept it because the further into school I get the tougher it becomes. So far I enjoy school and do not mind being a student. I am just ready to have a career and not just a job. I wish I could have money and be a student at the same time. My day will come!
Next subject...it is summer here! It has been beautiful 5 out of 7 days of every week. We get two days of 80's then a few cooler days and a few windy days. Overall though it is nice and I am not sure I'm ready for snow again. We watched the Ironman competition here in St. George which is a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26 mile run. There were 2500 competitors in town and it was really neat to see. Does not inspire me to do an event like that but does inspire me to stay healthy. I have been working but am ready for a new job. The Bent Fork, where I work, has been slow and it's boring to stand there while slow. I did take my CNA test but don't know if I have passed yet. Hopefully in Ogden I can get a full time job for the summer with that certification. On that note, Nic and I are anxious to move. I have packed my first box and have 2 weeks to get the rest together. Plenty of time now that I'm done with school.
Anyway, as for now I am enjoying the sun and waiting for the move. The move will be stressful because the week after we move I have my little brothers graduation to go to and we're heading to wyoming for Cassidie's brothers graduation. Can't forget Nic's birthday in there either! oh and then we have to find jobs!!! Yup it's going to be a fun and interesting summer!

Spring is in the Air

It is my spring break and for the weekend I went to Wyoming to visit my mom and family. The drive was not too bad because I had Nic there to drive and talk to. We stopped a few more times than he would have liked to due to my tiny bladder :) but we made it there. Just in the nik of time because as we parked the car the snow came flurrying in! We hung out with mom and Jon for the night and played some wii mario with the kids. Saturday we watched some movies,
Where the Wild Things Are *not my favorite* and Couples Retreat. It was a nice relaxing day seems the drive was so tiring the day before. That night we drove to Laramie to hang out with a few of Nics friends and teammates from Western and I got to see Shannon. I love seeing that girl such a blast. It was a good night. When we got home Journey begged me to play Wii *which I was ok with cuz I love super mario* I had such a good time hanging with my family. A well needed visit!!!
During our drive Nic and I talked a lot about our move to Ogden and the furniture we'll need and it got us both excited to move up north. We need a kitchen table, *want* a new tv, NEED a bed, plus some desk to do our homework. We plan to go to the DI and looking through yard sales. Hopefully I'll get to see family more but we're not too far from his family either. We plan to move up to Ogden as soon as I finish my finals here in May. It'll be hard to get a job and make rent before we get those jobs BUT we have high hopes.
For now, I am working TRYING to save money while going to school. I am half way through this semester and it has been rough. Medical Terms is hard because it is a lot of memorizing on top of my other classes. I love my nutrition class it is teaching me a good way to live for my entire life. Sports medicine is neat but I already have learned most of the information but I like to review stuff because I feel smart knowing the answers to all the questions.
Well gotta run, it is my spring break BUT I still work AND my silly teacher has a test due for us by saturday so gotta get that done.

Christmas Break

The break has been great. I've been sleeping in and enjoying it. School starts this week so back to a real schedule :)
Nic and I stayed in St. George for Christmas this year. We went and looked at wonderful christmas lights on Christmas Eve after watching Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakual with the his whole family. On christmas morning I set off the fire alarm by cooking sticky rolls *oops* but they were delicious! We also went to Cedar to have christmas dinner with Nic's sister and her family. It was a nice dinner with prime rib. The day after we went up to Salt Lake City to see some of my family and friends.
A few things we did were, temple light veiwing with Hailei. Dinner and shopping with her and WHITNEY *she just finished boot camp for the coast guard* Hung out at cody's with the girls and Jesse. Sunday were two chistmas parties (each dad) they were fun Nic got to meat some extended family. For white elephants Nic got $25 I got loofa's ha, better than Tanners make up kit haha. Monday I got to see a friend from western *sasha* and met her boyfriend Martin. Nic and I joined Dad and Cody for MNF that night. I enjoyed my first AMF it is a delicious drink I must say so. Tuesday Nic went snowboarding with a best friend and I went to visit my grama sally. She is finally recovering from her two back surgeries. Hopefully all up hill from here. She has high spirits for now and hope they keep her going. Also visited the Hootens to meet baby Max. He's a ham but I think adorable. The family is doing good and I miss them. Gotta love the Hootens.
It was snowing 80 percent of the time we were in slc and it was beautiful but not fun to drive/ride in ha *nic did the driving*
I got to see Shan and Cassidie I was lucky to have them join me for new years. It was a blast. We snowboarded *cassidie didn't like it much but I enjoyed it completely* New Years we just stayed at dads house in Layton and were joined by Nic's buddy and Jesse. It was a good fun night.
Since Nic and I have been home I've been a little home sick missing my mom and sister ALOT. First christmas I didn't see them and it was hard, but I hope to go there soon. Other than not making it to Wyoming it was a really good break. I've been working and lounging since we've been in STG. Oh and not to brag but it's been 55 degrees and beautiful sun here. It's nice but feels a little off for the season ha.
Well school starts this week, might pick up another job *see how it goes* other than that just enjoying nic's company again and hanging around.

Thankgiving Break

Update: NOTHING haha work, school, gym (spin class, zumba, cardio circuit) Finals are in 2 weeks woo hoo new classes in January

Thanksgiving week:
Nic came home home for a week and it was so nice to see him!
Saturday: We didn't do a whole lot cuz we didn't get home til after 2 am from picking Nic up from Vegas. At midnight though, Nic and I went to A Christmas Carol (scary movie)
Sunday: His family (my roommates) had family pictures planned so Nic and I had some taken together. They are OK. It was fun doing them though. Alivia and her family have very cute pictures cuz Degan is almost one and has his adorable 4 teeth showing in them all :) We also watched christmas shows and had dinner for the evening in Cedar.
Monday: I had class *sorta* I took a test but was in a hurry to be back with Nic so I missed my other classes (oops) We also did some of our Christmas shopping. We also got Nic to come to zumba *dance class* and it was fun. (non of us move very well)
Tuesday: I don't think much happened. If so I don't remember ha maybe we went shopping again.
Wednesday: I don't remember much either, too long ago ha. We did go to spin class *it was Nic's first time* It was fun but we came home and slept for 3 hours, it's a tiring class. I then had to work so not a very eventful day
Thursday: THANKSGIVING I woke up and went to the gym. On the way back my car died! (great huh) We ate at 1 and it was delicious. After some relaxation we had pie; again delicious! Once we regained conciousness from our food comas we played Kanasta! It's a good clean fun game! Alivia won as usual cuz she is a card game champ ;) (I'm sucking up if she reads this) Took a nap at 8 then headed to the outlets at 12 to check out black friday! It was a little crazy but an experience.
Friday: I worked til 4 then off to Las Vegas we went! Nic and I met up with Shannon and headed out on the town. First stop was PARIS where we played some slots and ate some pre game food. Pizza and ham/cheese sandwich. On our adventure we stopped at Margaritaville and ordered the strongest margarita the man could make! YUM!!! Conviniently the next bar over had free beer pong *we spent some time there* got a few more drinks and then headed down the strip to mandala bay for a club. Needless to say we did not make it there, got a cab and went home. It was a blast hanging out with Shannon again! I do miss her and I loved the way Nic and her got along. We hope to all hang out again for new years eve.
Saturday: RECOVERY. once home I showered and slept til 3pm. Tree picking out was the chore of the day which is a great time for me. The tree is nicely sized ha. Nic then took me to a movie to see New Moon which I must say is a GREAT movie. I'm glad I read the book though or I don't think the whole story would make sense.
Sunday: Movies in the morning *the grinch and Elf* this prepped us to decorate the tree we had picked up the day before. Now that decorations are up it feels a little bit more like december considering I have not seen snow yet and it's in the 60's everyday where I live.
Today: Nic had to go home :( He took me to lunch before we left town then we got candy at the airport. *He was trying to keep me from crying by giving me candy* BUT..good news he'll be home in 2 1/2 weeks!!! giving me time to get my classes done and get his christmas shopping done.
To sum it up I had a great week!!
I just found out Kristin H. is having her baby for sure this week...YAY another Hooten boy soon to join the world.

Halloween

I know it is late but I wanted to put some halloween pictures up. The best part of halloween was Nicholas walked in my door at 1 AM on wednesday night and stayed for the weekend. I was so happy to see him! We did not do much though and I'm ok with that. I bought some pants he helped me pick out. (such a patient man) We dressed up as 80's work out fanatics it was a quick fun costume.
As for right now, it is almost thanksgiving and I'm excited for Nic to come home AND to see Shannon in Vegas for her birthday woo hoo..I miss her greatly. Almost been a year since I saw her face!
A side note: I applied for Weber State for next fall. Hope I like it there!

Fall is In the Air

School-mid terms were not hard here. I had a couple tests but pretty easy. I recently took an interpersonal communication test and it was not easy. The teacher made it sound like he taught it all really well but when it came to the test it was very confusing. The structure of the test was horrible like he has never used spell check and he did not reread his test. Another reason I don't like Dixie, I feel smarter than the teachers here. They teach out of the book because they don't know the material very well. This semester is over in 6 weeks and I'm excited for a few reasons. I get to see family! I get to pick new classes! I love the holidays!
Friends- Still have not made many friends here. I talk to people at work but nothing close and personal. Kinda stinks but it'll get better I'm sure of it. I miss my real friends. I am kind of a picky friend! A great friend to the ones I love! Whitney is leaving for the coast guard and I don't get to say good bye and that stinks. Cody turns 21 and I can' t be with him. Nic is in Colorado and won't see him til thanksgiving. It's just hard. *I did go visit Nic and it was great! I miss having fun at school like I used to. It was great being with him again* My high school friends are going to Fort Collins for Halloween and I'm here with nothing to do and no money to help that situation. Lacey is moving to OK and I have not met her baby yet :(. I know that things will work out though, it always does!
Vegas-The hootens invited me to Vegas last weekend to be on the game show "Lets make a Deal". It was fun and neat to see how tv is filmed. It was fun being with them, I don't spend much time with them much anymore cuz we are all so busy. I will be going back to vegas for Shannons 21st birthday in Nov. that'll be a BLAST!!!
The weather is GREAT here, for now anyway. I like that it's not windy and miserable but I know for the holidays I will miss a white christmas. Today was the first day it was under 70 degrees. It does get cold but not miserable!!!
I don't have much planned in the next couple weeks. Pretty much just waiting til thanksgiving break. Just working and going to school for now.

First of October

I don't feel like much has changed since I wrote last but I know my mom reads this and I like to keep her and everyone updated on my life *makes me feel special that people read it*
I have one day left for my clinicals and let me tell you, it's been an experience! My first impression was "oh crap I don't want to be here" well as the time passed and I got used to the patients and the duties of a CNA I started to like it more. I now feel a little more comfortable with what I'm doing. I would much rather work in a hospital because the CNA I had during my knee surgery really made an impression on my life. I really want to be there to assist people as they get better.
Work has been getting better. At first it was very very slow, being a new business and all. Recently it has been a different story, there was actually a wait this evening at the Bent Fork. I was glad to be busy and not just standing around. Work is the only place I have made a few friends and that is nice. Well when I say friends I mean people to talk to ha. I enjoy working there I just wish I got more hours. I really want to start saving money but it's hard when I'm making bare minimum.
School has been ok. I'm not a huge fan of Dixie State so far but it may just be the classes I'm in. I feel like I haven't been learning as much as I did at Western. I don't feel that the teachers are teaching to their full potential. We always get out of class early and I don't like that because I am paying to learn not drive into town to have a half hour class and wait 3 hours til my next 30 min class. It could be because I'm not interested in the classes I'm in as well. I have never wanted to take chemistry and now I have to. Also I loved the things Nic taught me from his interpersonal communication class at western and I don't think I am learning half of that in my interpersonal class now. For now this is where I am though and it's going towards a degree so that is good.

September has Been busy

It's been crazy getting everything set around here but I'm writing to update. I am enrolled at
Dixie and thankfully paying in state tuition! *had some stressful days but it all worked out* I am working at a restaurant as a host for now. Not many places are hiring so I have taken what I can. It's slow because they have just opened and therefore it has been boring but I like my coworkers and owners so far.
I am legal to DRINK the beverages I've always dreamed of ordering in restaurants!! I was treated to sushi and wonderful time spent with MRS. Prego Hooten. :) I then spent time with my brother Cody, brother Jesse, Friends Hailei and Whitney! It was a blast, alot of laughing went around. We had a little party and went to Boondocks which was fun with all of us. I did order my first drink from Iggy's *sex in the canyon* treated to me by my daddy. When I came back to the STG I recieved DARK chocolate and scrub money from my roomies ha ;) and a wonderful pedicure from my, uh, sister in law ha ;) (what else do I call them?) My sweet boyfriend did send me a package with a few posters that I LOVE and candy including a pez despenser (his new tradition for the holidays) As for cakes I had a confetti cake, confetti cup cakes and from a distance a cake made of hot dog bun (loved it mom). I also recieved very cute cards from family and I appreciate it all! It was a good birthday! The weekend was spent with great people doing great things. It was a good time all around. (awful place for a pic! directly into the Dixie Sunset ha but it shows family together)
So far things are good. I came back from Iowa after 3 days there. I loved practice, I liked the coach, the team wasn't too bad BUT...I wasn't happy. There was so much doubt in my mind that I left. The campus was gorgeous and the ppl were friendly, but I was different and I didn't like that. Looking for a job as well, pretty much anything I can get ahold of! I miss Nic tremendously, but hopefully I can stay busy to keep my ming off of dwelling on missing him and just looking forward to when we're together again. I've been away from people I love my entire life, I guess you never get used to it because I miss them all ALOT! It doesn't get easier to say goodbye to loved ones. I just try to keep the times we have together in my memories and build more great memories when I see them again.
I will write more as I get settled into a schedule. I thought I'd be posting alot about soccer BUT instead I gave college soccer up to save some money and come home. I may wish I had taken the oportunity to keep playing but for now I am happy with my decision (it wasn't an easy one)

Drive to Iowa

My second time in a new place for college. Well I am not there yet but I am only one and a half hours away now.
I said goodbye to my beautiful, amazing boyfriend last week as he is going to a school in Alamosa, CO. I'm not liking being away from him one bit. But...gotta make do *i guess*.
I left STG yesterday at 6:30 am. I've never drove I 70 and it was a very interesting drive. It was very pretty to look at but I didn't like driving it. I was behind a truck w/ two trailers on it as it started fish tailing down a canyon *first driving scare* I did go through 2 amazing tunnels and saw and air show as I drove :). I made it to Cheyenne and spent time with my loving mommy, jon, journey and tanner for just a short night. We went to Red Lobster and it was delicious after a day of driving. This morning I got on the road to make it into Iowa. I drove for hours apon hours and I saw the SAME thing!!! CORN FIELDS ha I then made it into Iowa and got forced off the road in Omaha and was lost for about 20 minutes :( but I found my way. I saw a car that was recently on fire on the interstate, a rolled over car and I was pushed off the road by a semi. I don't wanna cross the country alone ever again. Thank the heavens above that I'm safe! I'm not sure why billboards are in the middle of corn fields out here instead of right off the interstate? One plus to the drive I finish the Twilight series. Pretty good books *or adio I should say* Now I am in a hotel room with a BIG bed, a couch, and tv all alone. Good thing it's the last stop til I'm at school. I am ready to come home already BUT that's just homesick and I hope it passes SOON. I miss my family and friends! I am going to try this new experience out cuz that's what college is about. I'll write more once I'm settled in my new place of living.

Summer Activities

My summer seems to have come and went. We work 8 to 4:30, Monday through Friday, making time off time for rest :). Nic and I have been doing the off season program his coach gave out. It consists of lots of lifting and running. It's nice to have a training buddy though.
Our first trip of the season was to Pine Valley for a camping trip. It was a great adventure. Started out getting things ready, I saw the biggest Black Widow I've ever seen! We were up in the mountains for the weekend and it was great. Nic chose this for his 21st birthday *seems I couldn't party in Vegas* We sang by the fire, had dutch over, took naps everyday, and played games, it was very relaxing. We tried fishing but Nic is the only one with luck, which is a bummer seems I'm the one with experience.
Our next big trip was to Salt Lake to see my family. We planned a very busy weekend. The night Nic and I arrived we went to dinner at Iggy's and watch Transformers. The next morning we got up and took Tanner to Park City to buy some clothing at the outlets. We then went to the Real Soccer game. It was great being with my brother, I miss him greatly! The fireworks at the game for the 4th of July were amazing. Nic got ash in his eye they were so close, he was ok though :). The next day consisted of boating with my dad and the WHOLE family. First time we've all been on the boat together, Jesse, Dad, Sharrie, Jayce, Aubrey, the grandkids and Nic and I. It was a little cloudy at first but ended up being a great day. Than night was full of western with a rodeo. It was a great Fourth of July and I'm so greatful to have a boyfriend who is willing to drive all over to see my spread out friends and family. Before parting from the North we had lunch with the Hootens. They are so amazing to me, and I miss them when I'm away. I wish I had a personal jet to see everyone more, it gets hard being away. I havn't seen my mom and family since March or so and it gets to me. I wish I could see them more, I wish I could be the close big sister to my little sister and brother. But hopefully they'll always know who I am and love me.
We have also been to the lake a few times. It's been over 100 degree here and the lake is very nice.
Camping in Cedar Mtn was our last vaca before Nic leaves for Alamosa. We had a great time seeing Ellie *the deer that visited everyday*, being dive bombed by humming birds, almost eaten by chipmunks, and enjoy the huge crickets/spiders in the toilet room. HA jk it was a great trip, lots of good food, fun games, relaxing time, and great ppl.
Sorry I wait so long to post but this is just my way of trying to keep ppl up to date on my life.

Gotta love the internet

Good Bye Western, Hello Summer Time

This weekend we all finished school and are moving out. Nic and I are on our way to STG to work, train, and have fun. I have lived in Wyoming for 10 years and now, I'm outta there! It's been great at Western. I met some great great friends, one of course my awsome boyfriend. Playing soccer there was great (not that I know soccer anywhere else). Even with a major knee injury, I had a blast training and playing for WWCC. I am so glad to be leaving the windy state and spending the summer in a warm, lovely place. I finished at western by getting my Associates Degree in General Science. I am not sure what I am doing with it yet but it's the first step to success!

My goals for this summer are to train for soccer. Going on to play at a four year, while recovering knee surger, is very nerve racking. I want to be strong when I get there so it'll take hard work. I am so excited though. Nic is an awsome person to train with and we both need to work very hard to be ready for our next challenge. Everybody keeps asking what we're going to do after summer, as a couple, all we know to say is, we'll see what happens "if it's meant to be it will happen". As for right now, I just want to enjoy my time with him and his family. I am so greatful they are letting me stay with them again. They are a great family and even though I have a ton of family, they are just as important in my life. Another goal is to get some of my bills payed off so I can be a little more at ease. Being a student, isn't an easy job in itself but then throwing in a job makes it even tougher. Being summer it's time to earn some money. Lastly, I want to enjoy my summer.

Thank you to everyone that has helped me get to where I am today. I know I'm not an easy challenge sometimes and everybody in my life has played a role in getting me through tough times. Having so many loved ones in my life gives me many percepectives on life and it's helping me grown into what I want to be.

Last Month of School

April shower bring May flowers! If only it would stop snowing for more than 3 days to bring flowers out, I'd be happy. I usually love spring but this is more like fall!
Easter weekend was a very enjoyable weekend. It was a fun weekend (even though we were apart) ha. Hailei and I had a fun time going to the farmers market, Hannah Montana Movie premier, Easter breakfast, Church on Easter, Easter Lunch, Easter Dinner, Easter Egg hunt, Side Walk Chalk Porn, needless to say we accomplished alot. A few of my favorites of the weekend were singing Hoedown with the Sutton girls and jello eggs! haha I got to spend alot of time with my little brother Tanner and that was great!!!! I miss being around my family being all grown up. I also went to Iggy's with my dad and brother for Jesse's 18th birthday, wow we're getting old. We watched the newest Fast and the Furious as well. It did rain most of the weekend and wasn't exactly warm in SLC, unlike STG *75 degree weather* where my lucky boyfriend got to visit. Now we're back at school finishing up the semester. Tests all over the place, limited weekends, and limited money due to hospital bills and not enough time for a job. We have 17 days until finals start. If everything goes correctly, I'll have a personal training certificate and a general science associates degree by the end of May.
As of this moment in time, I'm not sure where I'll be living in a month. Alamosa, CO, St. George, UT and West Jordan, UT are my options. Work is a definant for summer along with intense soccer training and time with Nic before next semester.
